1. Data controller
The controller for the data collected on this site is Amazone Adventure. Address: Rte de Ganges, 30120 Montdardier, France. Email address: robin@dewex.io. Dewex, which publishes the technical platform behind this site, acts as a processor under the GDPR.
2. Data collected
We collect what you send us in order to book: name, email address, telephone, language, booking form answers, messages, and the amount and status of your payment. Card numbers never reach us: they are entered and processed directly by Stripe.
3. Purposes and legal bases
Performance of the contract: handling your booking, taking your payment and sending the service emails that go with it. Legal obligation: keeping accounting records and preventing fraud. Legitimate interest: keeping the site secure and measuring its traffic in aggregate, without cookies.
4. Recipients and processors
Your data is available to the providers that run this site: Dewex (platform operation), Hetzner Online GmbH (server hosting, Germany), Supabase (database, European Union), Stripe Payments Europe Ltd (payment, Ireland), Resend (email delivery) and Sentry (technical monitoring). Any transfer of data outside the European Union is covered by the European Commission standard contractual clauses. Your data is never sold or shared with third parties for advertising.
5. Retention periods
Bookings are kept for the legal retention period of accounting records. Beyond that, and on request, the personal information they contain is anonymised: the amounts remain, your identity does not. Technical logs are kept for a few weeks at most.
6. Your rights
You have the right to access, correct, erase, restrict, port and object to the processing of your data. To exercise them, write to robin@dewex.io. You may also lodge a complaint with the CNIL, the French data protection authority.
8. Security
Traffic to this site is encrypted over HTTPS and access to the data is restricted to the people who need it.
