Choosing the outing, setting the departure time, saying when today is not the day: that is where a professional earns their place. We know our ground, we know its quiet days and the ones to avoid, and we tell you before you book.
There is an outing for every way of being outside
Each outing says where we go and what it asks of you. If you are torn between two, write to us: we will decide faster than you will.
Read what the outing asks for, then tell us what you usually do. We will answer straight, including when the answer is no.
What if I have never done this before?
That is true of plenty of people at the start of the day. Just say so in advance: it changes how we run the day, not whether we take you.
What do I need to bring?
Each outing states it, because it has nothing in common from one activity to the next. If you are unsure about a garment or a pair of shoes, ask us before the day itself.
What happens if the weather turns?
We follow the conditions and we make the call, not you. If we postpone, we offer another date or apply the cancellation terms shown on the outing.
Where do we meet?
The meeting point is stated on the outing. If you do not know the area, write to us: we are used to explaining the last kilometre.
How do we book?
It all happens on this site: the outing, the date, the payment. If none of the dates suit you, write to us rather than give up.
Can we change or cancel?
The terms that apply are the ones shown when you booked. Tell us early: the earlier it is, the more room we have to sort something out.
Can we come as a group?
Often yes. Give us the number of people and two or three possible dates: that is faster than hunting for a slot on your own.
All that is missing is the date
Tell us what you are after and when you are free. We will come back with what is open, and with what we would recommend.
